Osprey Village Participates in 2010 Shrimp Festival

Amelia Island, Fla., April 30, 2010 - Osprey Village was recently recognized for its compliance with SilverChair, an internal training program which provides employees with on-the-job education, helping them improve quality of care and safety for Osprey Village members. The community is currently more than 90 percent compliant with its training and the benefits are obvious.

Osprey Village, Amelia Island’s premier retirement destination, participated in the annual Shrimp Festival Parade on April 30 by decorating a float and recruiting a cheering section of members and staff to represent the community. This year’s theme, “Name that Tune,” was perfect for Osprey Village as Executive Director Matt Younger’s band rocked their way down the road with a variety of feel-good songs to please the crowd.
